We Bike Rochester hosts many group bike rides that cater to riders of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. These group rides are scheduled on different days and times to accommodate the diverse scheduling needs of the riders. Follow our social pages @webikerochester for the most up-to-date event information.
Why do a group ride?
educate newcomers on beginner level bicycle routes
promote safe riding and skill development
visibly demonstrate a critical mass of riders
foster new friendships in the bike community
and of course, share the simple joy of a bike ride!

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are not currently hosting group rides.
We strongly encourage solo bicycle rides, family/household unit rides, or rides with others who have been fully vaccinated; we will continue to support rides that fall in line with CDC guidelines. Find maps of previous social ride routes in the section below.
Once the CDC advises that general group rides are safe, we look forward to joining you on the trails again!

Join our game of "Bike Tag"!
“Bike Tag” is a game for people and families who enjoy adventure, quick thinking and friendly competition.
The game is played in the spirit of traditional tag on the playground, but on a massive scale with no contact.
Bike Tag is currently being played through our We Bike Rochester Social Riders Facebook group that you will have access to when you request to join.
The game is played by being the first person to find the currently tagged location, take a picture and post it to the Facebook group; and then take another picture in a different place and post as the "new" tagged location. All locations must be within Rochester city limits and accessible by bicycle. The full rules are posted in the Facebook group.
Tag, you're it!
